  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen lima beans, thawed
  • 1 (28 oz.) can peeled whole tomatoes with juice
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 c. dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 6 bacon slices

Directions

    Squeeze or mash the tomatoes. Place all of the ingredients (except bacon) into a 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Lay bacon slices across the top. Bake at 325° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Makes 8 servings.
