- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. coconut
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. cornflakes (not crushed)
- 2 c. quick oats
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar.

2Add eggs and beat well.

3Add sifted ingredients and mix well.

4Add oats, cornflakes and coconut and mix all together.

5Cookies may be formed into balls or dropped by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.

6Makes 7 to 8 dozen cookies.
