  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. oatmeal
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 2 c. plain flour

    Melt

    shortening; pour over sugar.

    Mix well.

    Add eggs and vanilla.

    Sift dry ingredients; add to sugar mixture.

    Add oats, crushed Rice Krispies, nuts and coconut.

    Mix well; drop with spoon on greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
