Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1 c. crushed cornflakes
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Stir dry ingredients together.

    In a mixer bowl, beat butter; add sugars and beat until fluffy.

    Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture.

    Stir in oatmeal, cornflakes, coconut and pecans.

    Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool about 1 minute before removing to wire rack.
