- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. Rice Krispies
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Grease cookie sheet.

3In a large bowl, cream the margarine, shortening, sugar and eggs; beat until blended.

4Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and vanilla. Mix all together until creamy.

5Stir in Rice Krispies.

6Drop by round teaspoonful.

7Bake at 375° for 8 to 12 minutes.

8Makes 5 dozen.
