  • 1 pkg. RapidRise yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Mix 1 1/2 cups flour, the yeast, sugar and salt in large bowl. Heat water, milk and margarine to 125° to 130°; stir into flour mixture.

    Stir in egg.

    Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle.

    Sprinkle a clean surface with flour; knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.

    Cover and let rest 10 minutes.

    Lightly grease a cookie sheet and shape dough into a round loaf; place on sheet.

    Cover and let rise 20 minutes.

    Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
