- 6 lb. beef roast
- salt and pepper to season
Directions

1Rub meat with salt and pepper.

2Put into pan, fat side up. Do not cover or add water.

3Have oven preheated to 375°.

4Cook meat for 1 hour. Turn off heat.

5Do not open oven door at anytime. Thirty or 40 minutes before serving, turn oven to 375° again and cook meat for 30 minutes.

6Put the roast in oven anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for evening meal.

7Very good to slice leftovers if any left for sandwich.

8Tape oven door if necessary to keep from opening.
