  • 3/4 cups Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 jar 12 Oz Raspberry Preserves
  • 3/4 cups Sliced Almonds

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and almond extract. In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well.

    Press the dough into a greased 13-inch x 9-inch baking pan. Spread with preserves. Sprinkle with almonds.
