Raspberry Coulis

  • 2 cups frozen raspberries
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

    In a bowl, combine berries, sugar and water.

    Microwave until the fruit softens and the sugars start to foam. About 3 minutes.

    Add lemon juice then pulse sauce in a blender a couple times. Take care to not chop the seeds too much.

    Put sauce in a fine strainer and use a spatula to strain the liquids into a bowl. This may take several minutes. Keep stirring!

    Store the coulis in a squeeze bottle in your refrigerator for up to 1 week. Enjoy on your desserts and fruits!
