Raspberry Filled Cookies

- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- seedless raspberry jam
- green sugar sprinkles
Directions

1Beat cream cheese and butter together until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Blend well.

2Chill at least 1 hour.

3When chilled, shape into 1-inch balls and place on a cookie sheet.

4Press down centers with your thumb and sprinkle with green sugar.

5Add raspberry jam to the center of the cookie.

6Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
