Raspberry Filled Cookies

  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 2/3 c. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • seedless raspberry jam
  • green sugar sprinkles

Directions

    Beat cream cheese and butter together until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Blend well.

    Chill at least 1 hour.

    When chilled, shape into 1-inch balls and place on a cookie sheet.

    Press down centers with your thumb and sprinkle with green sugar.

    Add raspberry jam to the center of the cookie.

    Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
