Raspberry Jam Thumbprints

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup promise buttery spread
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup raspberry jam seedless

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375°. In large bowl, with electric mixer, beat Promise(R) Buttery Spread with sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in egg yolks, milk and vanilla until smooth. Beat in flour and salt until blended; shape into 1-1/2-inch balls.

    On ungreased baking sheet, arrange balls, 1/2 inch apart. Press thumb into center of each cookie to make a depression. Bake 8 minutes or until lightly golden. On wire rack, let stand 2 minutes; remove from sheet and cool completely.

    Spoon 1/4 slightly rounded teaspoonful jam into center of each cookie.
