- 1 qt. raspberries
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Heat fruit, sugar and water in a buttered 2 quart baking dish in a 400 degree oven.

2Mix flour with baking powder, salt, and sugar.

3Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine meal.

4Add milk, a little at a time, mixing after each addition.

5Spoon over hot berries.

6Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.

7Try it with cherries or peaches as well, adjusting sugar to taste.

8Serve with cream or ice cream.
