- 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. walnut flavoring, extract
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. black walnuts, chopped
- 3 c. diced apples, 3 to 4 apples cored and peeled
- 1 c. raisins
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Grease and flour a tube pan.

3In a large mixing bowl, blend oil, sugar, eggs, salt, baking soda and walnut flavoring.

4In a separate bowl, sprinkle just enough flour over the apples, raisins and nuts to coat them.

5Add remaining flour to oil mixture.

6Fold in coated apples, raisins and nuts. Pour in prepared tube pan and bake 1 hour and 45 minutes, or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
