  • 1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 c. raw apples, diced
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • vanilla flavoring

Directions

    Cream oil and sugar and add eggs one at a time alternately with the ingredients sifted together (flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg).

    Add mixture of diced apples, nuts and vanilla.

    Bake in tube pan or oblong pan at 350° for 1 hour.

    Grease and flour pan.
