- 1 qt. cabbage
- 1 pt. green peppers
- 1 pt. onion (scant)
- 2 or 3 hot peppers
- 5 Tbsp. salt
- 4 c. sugar
- 3 c. vinegar
- 4 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Chop vegetables; mix with salt.

2Let stand 4 hours.

3Drain out most of the juice.

4Add rest of ingredients; stir well.

5Let stand 1 hour.

6Do not cook.

7Seal in jars.

8Let stand about 2 weeks before use.
