  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put in mixing bowl the sugar and flour.

    Combine and bring to a boil the water, margarine and cocoa.

    Add to this mixture after it comes to a boil the eggs and vanilla.

    Pour into sugar and flour mixture.

    Stir well.

    Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake is done.

    Leave cake in pan and pour the following icing over warm cake.
