- 34 cup regular margarine, softened
- 1 34 cups sugar
- 1 (1/4 ounce) packageunsweetened Kool-Aid, any flavor
- 3 eggs
- 2 34 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F.

2In a large bowl, beat margarine well.

3Add 1 1/2 cup sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

4Do not underbeat.

5Combine Kool-Aid and remaining sugar.

6Beat into margarine mixture.

7Beat in eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.

8Beat in vanilla.

9Beat in baking powder.

10Mix in flour and milk alternately until just combined.

11Do not overbeat.

12Fill greased and floured baking tins about 2/3 full.

13Do not overfill.

14Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until tester comes out clean.

15Cool on racks and frost as desired.
