- 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 medium head red cabbage, shredded (about 4 to 5 c.)
- 3 tart apples, thinly sliced
- 1/4 c. mild vinegar
- 1/4 c. raisins
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Melt butter and add onion and brown sugar.

2Cook until a golden yellow.

3Add remaining ingredients.

4Cover and cook on high heat until steaming, then reduce to low heat.
