Red Cabbage Side-Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 head Red cabbage (1 lb)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (crushed or thinly minced)
  • 1 handful Mint
  • 1 handful Parsley
  • 1 handful Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mirin Sweet Rice Wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce

Directions

    Cut cabbage is half and then in thin pieces. Cut the long pieces so they're about bite size. Chop herbs.

    Once the cabbage and herbs are cut, mix all the ingredients into a large bowl. Chill in the fridge overnight and it'll taste even better then following day. Great dish to prepare ahead of a party.

    You can sprinkle the sesame seeds at the very end before serving.
