- 1 qt. clams chopped
- 2 c. diced fresh potatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 - 46 oz. can tomato juice
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
- 1 small carrot, diced
- 1/2 lb. bacon, diced
- water
Directions

1Cook bacon in large pot.

2Pour off excess grease.

3Add clams. Cook and stir 1/2 hour.

4Add all vegetables.

5Cook 20 minutes. Add tomato paste and juice.

6Cook until all vegetables are tender. Add water to make about 4 quarts.

7Season with salt and pepper.
