Red Clam Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 c. chopped canned baby clams with juice
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 cloves fresh minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 c. white wine (optional)
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt to taste
- 3/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper to taste
Directions

1Saute clams in oil and butter mixture for 2 minutes; add garlic, onions and parsley to clams.

2Saute for 2 more minutes; add wine, parsley and tomato sauce.

3Salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low heat (simmer for 10 to 15 minutes).

4Serve hot over linguine or spaghetti.

5Serves 2 to 4, depending on desired amount of sauce your guests like.
