- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. flour
- 1 large lettuce, shredded
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper
- water
Directions

1Save 1/2 onion.

2Use large skillet.

3Brown hamburger with 1/2 onion; drain grease.

4Mix flour with hamburger.

5Add tomato sauce and 3 to 4 cans water.

6Season with chili powder, salt and pepper to taste.

7Place tortillas in sauce; let soften for a minute or so. Place tortilla in plate with a little sauce.

8Add lettuce, onion and cheese.

9Make another layer if desired.

10Serve immediately.
