  • 2 gal. tomato juice
  • 2 onions, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 7 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 8 c. sugar
  • approximately 18 Tbsp. clear-jell

Directions

    Stir all ingredients, except sugar and clear-jel, together in large kettle.

    Boil down for 1 1/2 to 3 hours, then add the sugar. Mix the clear-jel with cold water; add to thicken.
