  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. uncooked whole rice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. tomato paste
  • about 4 c. hot water
  • 2 bouillon cubes (any flavor)

Directions

    Put the first 6 ingredients into a 2-quart pan.

    Add hot water and bring to a boil.

    Stir often.

    Cook 20 minutes, uncovered, until water is gone and rice is tender.

    If not, add more water and cook until tender.
