  • 2 c. rice
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 3 Tbsp. bacon grease
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • diced ham, bacon or sausage (optional)

Directions

    Saute onion and pepper in bacon grease.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Pour in casserole dish.

    Cover tightly and bake for 1 hour at 350°.
