  • 20 each Roma tomatoes
  • 5 basil (leaves)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 4 clove garlic

Directions

    Quarter tomatoes.

    Place in heated, and oiled, stock pot.

    Cover.

    Let simmer for twenty minutes.

    Strain tomatoes.

    Place into blender.

    Add spices, basil, and garlic.

    Optional: add mushrooms and red onion.

    Blend.

    Place the sauce back into the stock pot.

    Cover.

    Let simmer until sauce gets thickened.
