- 1 lb. stew meat
- 4 to 5 stalks celery
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 can tomato paste
- 4 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion (optional)
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms (optional)
Directions

1Cut meat in bite size pieces.

2Brown in 1 tablespoon of oil. Course chop vegetables.

3When meat is browned, drain off excess oil.

4Add celery, bell pepper, tomato paste and water.

5Simmer until thickened.

6Salt and pepper to taste.

7Serve over rice. Serves 4.
