  • 1 pt. cold potatoes
  • 1 pt. cold boiled beets
  • 1 pt. uncooked red cabbage
  • 6 Tbsp. oil
  • 8 Tbsp. red vinegar (that in which beets have been pickled)
  • 2 tsp. salt (unless vegetables cooked in salt)
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Cut potatoes in thin slices and the beets fine.

    Slice the cabbage as thin as possible.

    Mix all the ingredients.

    Let stand in a cold place 1 hour, then serve.
