  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 pkg. yeast in 1/4 c. warm water
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 5 c. white flour

    2 packages yeast in 1/4 cup water; let stand.

    Add 2 cups whole wheat flour and 5 cups white flour. Mix well.

    Punch down and shape into loaves or rolls.

    Bake 30 minutes for loaf at 350°, rolls 15 minutes at 400°.
