Refreshing Ginger Lemonade

Ingredients
- 3 inches fresh ginger, peeled & crushed
- 1 12 cups fresh lemonade (6-8 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 thinly sliced lemon
- 1 12 cups sugar
Directions

1In a saucepan, combine the water sugar and ginger.

2On high heat, bring to boil, stirring mixture to dissolve the sugar.

3Reduce heat to low.

4Simmer mixture until syrupy and ginger is aromatic, around 10 minutes.

5Remove from burner and remove the ginger.

6Let mixture cool.

7Pour mixture into a large pitcher.

8Add in lemon juice and water, stir.

9Toss in lemon slices.

10Let chill in refrigerator, or pour over ice filled glasses.
