- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 c. water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1 cup lukewarm water.

2Heat second cup of water and dissolve Crisco in it, then let it cool.

3Beat eggs and add sugar and salt to eggs, then mix with other liquids and gradually add flour.

4Mix well; put in greased bowl and cover and refrigerate overnight.

5Next day, roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.

6Dip biscuits in melted butter; let rise.

7Bake at 450° for 10 to 15 minutes.
