  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 t. lemon extract
  • 1/2 t. vanilla
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 c. (or more) nut meats, chopped
  • 2 c. flour sifted
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1/2 t. cream of tartar

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix ingredients together and shape into a log. Cover with wax paper and chill. Slice thin. Bake at 350° 8-10 minutes.
