  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 eggs, well beaten

Directions

    Heat milk and shortening in a saucepan until shortening melts. Cool to lukewarm.

    Sprinkle or crumble yeast into water and stir until dissolved.

    Add sugar, eggs and salt to mix.

    Pour into yeast and mix well.
