- 3 onions
- 12 to 15 cucumbers
- 4 c. sugar
- 4 c. vinegar
- 1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
- 1 1/3 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 1/3 tsp. turmeric
- 1/2 c. pickling salt (regular salt can be used)
Directions

1Wash and sterilize two 1/2-gallon jars.

2Slice cucumbers and onions in layers into jars; pack well.

3(Use whatever it will hold.)

4Mix sugar, vinegar and spices; do not heat.

5Stir well and pour over cucumbers and onions.

6Refrigerate for at least 5 days before using.

7Keep refrigerated at all times.

8Good for 1 year.
