  • 1 gal. cucumbers
  • 6 large onions, sliced thin
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 4 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/3 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/2 c. pickling salt

Directions

    Slice cucumbers into a gallon jar or 4 quart jars, packed tight.

    Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over cucumbers. Tighten lids and refrigerate.

    Ready to eat in 5 days.
