- 3/4 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 egg
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Mix hot water, sugar, salt and shortening.

2Cool to lukewarm. Measure into bowl 1 cup warm water and sprinkle in yeast.

3Stir to dissolve.

4Stir in lukewarm water mix, egg and flour.

5Mix well. Knead until smooth.

6Place in refrigerator until double in bulk or until ready to use.

7Can refrigerate up to a week.

8Shape and bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
