- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. Crisco
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 3 1/2 c. flour (bread)
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup of water.

2Combine sugar, egg, milk and 1 cup water.

3Add salt and flour.

4Knead several times.

5Put in bowl; brush with Crisco.

6Cover tightly and put in refrigerator until it doubles in bulk.

7Punch down and let rise 10 minutes. Make in rolls and let rise 2 1/2 hours or until double in bulk. Preheat oven.

8Bake at 425° until done.
