- 2 pkg. Rapid yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. hot water
- 1 c. shortening (Crisco, not oil)
- 2 eggs
- 6 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water; set aside.

2Pour hot water over sugar, salt and shortening in large mixer bowl; let cool. Beat eggs; add 3 cups flour and mix all together with mixer.

3Add 3 more cups flour; mix by hand.

4Refrigerate overnight, covered with towel.

5Punch down and knead; make into rolls.

6(Divide dough into halves and roll out and cut.)

7Let rise 3 to 4 hours, then bake 12 to 15 minutes at 400°.
