Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/3 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. shortening or margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Melt shortening and cool.
  3. 3
    Let milk come to a boil and cool.

    Add yeast to lukewarm milk; add shortening, eggs and salt.

    Add flour; stir until smooth and put in refrigerator or make out into rolls.

    If you refrigerate, it takes a couple of hours to warm enough to make into rolls or cinnamon rolls.

    You can make this into loaves of bread if you desire.
