  • 1 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 yeast cake
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 c. flour
  • 2 egg whites

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

    Mix hot water and shortening together.

    Add salt and sugar.

    Gradually add flour and yeast mixture.

    Last, fold in beaten egg whites.

    Put in greased bowl and let rise overnight in refrigerator.

    Make out about 2 1/2 or 3 hours before baking.
