  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 c. water, lukewarm
  • 1 1/2 sticks melted butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 c. self-rising flour

    Dissolve yeast in water.

    Mix butter, sugar and egg; add yeast mixture.

    Stir in flour gradually.

    Mix well.

    Fill desired number of muffin tins about half full.

    Bake at 425° for 20 minutes. Cover tightly and refrigerate unused portion.
