  • 5 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 pkg. or cakes yeast
  • 3/4 c. hot water
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

    Mix hot water, sugar, salt and margarine. Cool to lukewarm. Put warm water into large bowl and sprinkle or crumble yeast. Stir until dissolved. Stir in lukewarm water mixture, egg and half the flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.
