- 1/2 c. instant potatoes
- 3 c. hot water
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 7 or 8 c. flour
Directions

1Put yeast in warm water and set aside.

2In large mixing bowl, put potatoes, hot water, sugar, shortening and salt.

3When cool, add eggs, yeast and flour a little at a time to make a soft dough. Knead until smooth; put in greased bowl and cover with waxed paper.

4Set in refrigerator (as this rises in refrigerator).

5Let set several hours or overnight.

6The dough wants to be a little on the sticky side.

7Make into rolls or buns (or whatever).

8Let rise in a warm place until double in bulk and bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until done.

9This dough will keep in the refrigerator for 2 or 3 days.
