- 1/3 c. Crisco or butter
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cold water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Place Crisco in large bowl.

2Add boiling water and stir until melted.

3Add sugar, cold water and yeast which has been dissolved in warm water, egg, flour and salt.

4Mix thoroughly.

5Cover with waxed paper and wet towel.

6Place in refrigerator overnight.

7Take out 2 or 3 hours before using.

8Shape and allow to rise until almost doubled in size.
-
9Bake in a hot oven at 450° for 7 minutes.
