- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. scalded milk or potato water (lukewarm)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 6 1/2 to 7 c. flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water or milk.

2Add sugar and salt. Beat egg slightly.

3Melt margarine. Mix both into milk mixture. Add flour to mixture until it won't beat anymore.

4Knead in remaining flour.

5Put in greased bowl, cover and put in refrigerator until ready to use.

6Shape into any type of roll. Let rise to double.

7Bake at 350° for about 20 minutes or lightly browned.
