- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Mix all ingredients and knead for 10 minutes.

3Place in greased bowl and cover.

4Place in refrigerator. Remove from refrigerator 2 hours before ready to bake.

5Roll out into the shape desired and set aside for 1 hour.

6Bake at 400° until brown.

7Brush with margarine.
