- 2 lb. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. cream Crisco
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2/3 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 2 eggs, well beaten
Directions

1Mix yeast in warm water; set aside.

2Add flour, sugar, Crisco, soda, eggs and buttermilk.

3Mix good with your hands.

4Roll out thin when ready to bake.

5Cut out with round cookie cutter, flour, double over, let set for five minutes and bake.

6Best to let dough set in refrigerator overnight, then cut out and bake.

7Bake in a 400° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
