Ingredients

  • 1 c. Crisco (not oil)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. warm water (from faucet)
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 6 c. plain flour

Directions

    Mix Crisco, sugar, salt and boiling water well to dissolve grease.

    Add warm water and yeast.

    Then add the eggs.

    Put in plain flour one cup at a time.

    Mix well.

    Leave in same bowl. Put some oil on top of dough.

    Put Saran Wrap over bowl.

    Put in refrigerator overnight.

    Make out amount you need.

    Dot with butter.

    Let rise in warmest place you have for 2 or 3 hours or until they rise.

    Bake at 400° until done.

    Will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks or longer.

    Makes 45 rolls.
