Ingredients
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 6 1/2 to 7 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. soft shortening
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

2Add other ingredients. Place in buttered dish and grease top of dough with softened butter.

3Cover with Glad Wrap.

4Put in refrigerator overnight. Shape dough into desired rolls.

5Cover; let rise until light (1 1/2 to 2 hours).

6Do not knead.

7Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes.

8Makes 3 dozen rolls.
