- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. butter Crisco
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. cold water
- 7 to 8 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water, let stand.

2Stir together hot water, Crisco, salt, sugar and eggs.

3Add cold water.

4Add yeast dissolved in water.

5Add flour, mix well.
-
6Place on floured board and knead.
-
7Put in greased bowl and set in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.

8Break off and make biscuits.

9Place in greased pans.
-
10Makes about 4 dozen.

11Let rise about 2 hours. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°.
